GreenPT is now available on Eden AI

Eden AI lets developers route every request by cost, performance and region. From today, there’s an option in that list that also runs on renewable energy and keeps your data where you sent it: GreenPT’s open-weight models, hosted in the EU.

What is Eden AI?

Eden AI is a French AI gateway. Through one API, developers reach more than 500 language models and specialised models for tasks like OCR, speech, translation and vision. Instead of committing to one provider, teams compare models side by side and decide per request what matters most: price, performance or where the request is processed.

What GreenPT adds to the list

Routing by region tells you where a request goes. With most providers, that’s where the story ends: the request is processed there and then handled by the company that built the model, under its own terms.

GreenPT works differently. Our models are open-weight and run on our own servers in the EU. A request that reaches us stays with us. It isn’t passed on to the original model maker and it isn’t used to train models. And because our infrastructure runs on renewable energy, there’s now a choice on Eden AI for teams that also care about the footprint of their software.

How to start

Use your Eden AI key and the model ID of a GreenPT model, such as greenpt/green-l. Eden AI keeps the current list of models, with pricing, on its models page.

Already using the GreenPT API directly? Nothing changes. This is an extra route, not a replacement.
