Getting started

Enabling two-factor authentication

Understand where additional sign-in security is managed and what to do if your account does not show an option.

By GreenPT · 1 min read · English

Two-factor authentication adds another check after your password. The available methods depend on the sign-in provider and your organisation’s policy; they are not controlled by the Chat input or language settings.

Check your sign-in method

If you use a work or social login, open that provider’s security settings and follow its multi-factor authentication setup. An organisation administrator may require a specific method.

For a direct GreenPT login, use the security options offered by the identity service during sign-in or account management. If you cannot find an enrolment option, ask support which methods are available for your account before changing anything.

Keep recovery access

Store any recovery codes securely, separately from your password. Do not share them in a chat or support message. If you lose the second factor, use your provider’s recovery process or contact your organisation administrator.
