Using Grammar Check
Compare suggested corrections, accept the changes you want and copy the revised text.
Open Grammar Check from the Apps catalogue.
Grammar Check helps you review language changes individually. Keep the original meaning in mind as you review each suggestion.
Check your text
- Paste the text into the editor.
- Choose Check Grammar.
- Compare Original and Revised text and read the explanation for each suggested change.
- Accept or reject individual changes after reading their explanations.
- Choose Use revised text to apply the accepted version.
- Open More actions, choose Copy, and paste the revised text where you need it.
The demonstration corrects a short fictional event announcement. Check names, specialist terms and intentional wording yourself; a suggested correction is not always appropriate.
Refine the writing further
After applying corrections, read the complete text again for meaning and consistency. For a broader rewrite or a different audience, follow Using Writing Coach. For another language, follow Using Translate.
