What the claim covers
Renewable electricity used for hosting is different from a claim that the whole service has no environmental impact. Hardware production, your device and network, and the original training of an open-weight model are separate parts of the lifecycle.
GreenPT’s terms explicitly distinguish its hosting commitment from the infrastructure on which third-party models may have been trained.
Request evidence
For procurement or reporting, contact GreenPT and specify the service, reporting period and evidence your organisation requires. Ask for the relevant hosting and electricity-sourcing documentation rather than treating an icon or estimated carbon figure as a certificate.
