GreenPT Chat
Organising chats with folders
Group conversations, add shared instructions and reference files, and start a new chat within that project context.
A folder in Chat groups related conversations and can hold instructions and reference files for that work. The video creates a fictional Repair Café folder.
Create a folder and add context
- Open Folders in the Chat sidebar, then choose New folder.
- Enter a useful project name and choose Create.
- Open the folder’s instructions, describe the context or writing preferences, and save them.
- Add a relevant reference file using the folder’s upload control.
- Wait for indexing to finish before asking questions that depend on the file.
For example, keep confirmed dates and owners in the file and use instructions such as “Use friendly British English. Preserve supplied facts.” Do not put facts you have not confirmed into the instructions.
Work inside the folder
Start the conversation from the folder and ask a question that uses its context. Check any source references against the file. To organise existing work, open a chat’s More actions, choose Move to folder and select the destination. See the history demonstration.
Folders, skills and Spaces
A skill is a reusable way of working. A folder holds project context. Spaces are a separate workspace; do not assume a personal Chat folder grants team access.

Open Folders in Chat. Choose New folder. Give the folder a useful name and create it. Open the folder instructions. Save instructions and add a reference file. Wait for the file to be indexed. Start a chat inside the folder and ask about the shared brief. Review the answer and its document reference.
