Taking and analysing a photo
Attach a clear photo in a supported image workflow, ask a specific question and verify the answer against the image.
Use Vision or an image attachment in Chat to ask about a photo. The device file picker determines whether you can choose an existing image or take a photo directly.
Ask about an image
- Open the app’s image or attachment action.
- Choose a photo, or use the camera option if your device offers it.
- Check that the image is sharp, well lit and shows the relevant detail.
- Wait for the attachment to finish loading.
- Ask a focused question, such as “Read the opening hours on this sign.”
Improve the result
Crop unnecessary surroundings before uploading, or take another photo if the text is small or blurred. Compare extracted text with the original image before relying on it.
Only upload images you have permission to process. A photo answer can be mistaken; it is not a reliable identity check or a substitute for expert inspection of a safety issue.
